Affordable Care Act Reporting Requirements
The Affordable Care Act added section 6055 to the Internal Revenue Code, which requires every provider of minimum essential health coverage to report coverage information by filing an information return with the IRS and furnish a statement to individuals. The information primarily is used by the IRS to administer – and by individuals to show compliance with – the individual shared responsibility provision in section 5000A.
Viking Fence is working with its software providers to automate the distribution of the required 1095-B forms to every one of our employees to meet the Federal requirements.
If an employee would like us to generate a copy of a 1095-B for their records, ahead of this automation, please submit a request to pkong@vikingfence.com or call HR at 512-837-6411 x428 and we would be happy to provide this. Please allow for a 7 day turn around time.
