Viking Fence operates out of its facility on 1007 S. Cedar Hill, Rd, in Cedar Hill, TX. We serve the entire Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex. Viking is the only fence company that mills its own lumber, to your project specifications and gives you various picket grades to choose from. Three Grades of Western Red Cedar (WRC) Fence Pickets offered. In Dallas/Ft. Worth, Viking offers the following grades of pickets:

• 5/4” thick WRC picket – Smooth on 4 sides (the best picket on the market – bar none)
  • This picket is available in 4, 6, 8 and 10 foot heights
• 3/4” thick WRC pickets (all rough sawn):
  • #1 Grade – clear board, no knots (custom order only)
  • #2 Grade – tight small knots, no-hole (builds a very good looking fence)
  • #3 Grade – Economy/Builder’s grade, slightly larger knots (best value for tight budgets)

A thicker, stronger picket. Our pickets are thicker and better looking than what you’ll find at the big box stores and what most fence companies are now installing. All of our pickets are graded to strict industry standards consistent with the Western Lumber Association grading definitions.
